Sometimes I feel like my life is just a task list that needs to get checked off. So this morning while walking and praying I found myself giving God *His* own task list, from me, of things I need Him to do. I suddenly felt ashamed and realized that God doesn't need me to be giving Him a "to do" list, He has one of His own. So I threw out the "list" and just listened to Him and worshiped Him, because after all, that's what He really wants from me. I can't imagine life without personally knowing the Creator of this universe and being able to converse with Him on an astoundingly beautiful fall morning when the colors of His creation are on full display.
